United StatesThe Mercury Wave simply enlivens the hallway in which it was easily hung. I like it a lot, but subtracted a star as I believe the website photos portray it as having more color-play than it actually has. See my photo. Looking forward to their reopening the gallery so I can view the beautiful artwork first hand.
Hi Richard! Thank you for your review. Lighting is "key" with metal artwork. All sculptures and wall art are photographed under vibrant track lighting, with the correct color temperature for the desired look or mood. So depending on the type of lighting that you use, you can achieve a more intense look like the listing photo. We see that the light near the artwork is more warmed toned, but if you had say another light on the other side near the artwork that was more cool toned it would add more dimension and depth.
